Audio description
I write, record and publish longform visual descriptions for audiences who are blind or have low vision. It’s not an audience that I am a part of, but I am also disabled and want to make sure that other people’s access needs are met.
If you’re a museum or gallery looking to make your artwork more accessible, you can hire me to run an art tour or record descriptions. If you’re a audience member looking to experience more audio description, please get in touch and we can talk about what you want to do. Feel free to send me an email.
Previous clients include the National Gallery of Victoria, the Museum of Australian Democracy and the National Portrait Gallery. I have had positive feedback from community members about my skill in describing artworks, but also in connecting with communities and meeting their wants and needs and audience members.
Some of my favourite work has been describing Queer for the NGV and working on the Adelaide Fringe poster in 2025 and 2024, as well as live events like Santa’s Magic Cave and Illuminate Adelaide.
