About Meg
Meg Riley is an artist, audio describer and access consultant.
She has been exhibiting since 2009 and has been an artist-in-residence in Hrisey, Iceland, and worked in group studios including Holy Rollers, the Mill and Fontanelle.
She is the recipient of numerous grants, including the 2024 Richard Llewellyn Arts and Disability Grant and the 2025 Julia Farr McLeod Individual Grant.
With a genetic disorder (rare) and being autistic (less rare), her experiences inform her artwork and also her day job, where she works with museums and galleries to make them more accessible.
She has a wealth of experience in disability access in the arts, and can help you make your organisation, exhibition or event more accessible.
She is also available for commissions, especially portraiture.
